THE ROPER THEATRE | SCHOOL MATINEES

PERFORMANCES

All performances are at TCC Roper Performing Arts Center, located on 340 Granby Street, Norfolk. (Unless otherwise noted)

Friday performances are at 7pm; Saturday and Sunday performances are at 3pm. However, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is scheduled only for Saturday December 13th, 2008, 7pm.

Dr. Seuss's SEUSSICAL... "Horton Hears A Who"

See the world of Dr. Seuss come to life on stage! This hit Broadway musical follows the adventures of Horton the Elephant who hears a "Who". Narrated by Cat in the Hat, you meet all your favorite Seuss characters.. Who would have thunk you could find such a think in the Hurrah Players?

HOLIDAYS IN VIRGINIA

In the style of Radio City Music Hall, it's Hurrah for the holidays! A lively musical revue featuring precision kick-line dancers, holiday classics from yesterday and today, a celebration of all faiths and special visit from Mr. & Mrs. Claus!

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER

Back by popular demand for the 16th year! A funny and touching story based on the popular book by Barbara Robinson. Watch as the unruly Herdman children learn the true meaning of Christmas.

HONK!

Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale "The Ugly Duckling" has been transformed into a modern musical comedy for all ages. From the moment 'Ugly' is hatched, the show brims with charm, witty lyrics, a cast of memorable characters and a moral purpose that spans every generation.

BLUES CLUES LIVE! THE MOST SPECTACULAR PLACE follows Blue and Steve as they set off on a clue based journey, in search of the most spectacular place of all.

GREASE

Whether it's your 1st time or 100th , this 1950's rock and roll musical is surely the "One that you want"! Hurrah brings you Rydell High's class of '59 complete with Danny, Sandy, TBirds and of course, the Pink Ladies!
